Deputy Shaq’ - no more badge

America’s Toughest Sheriff Arpaio told Deputy ShaQ that he wanted his badge back, I think he does not like ShaQ’s rap.

Last January, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio made the Phoenix Suns star
a special deputy, and then promoted him to a ceremonious colonel earlier this
month. “I want his two badges back,” Arpaio told the AP, “Because if any one of
my deputies did something like this, they’re fired. I don’t condone this type of
racial conduct.” check it out.

Don Imus stil a Racist?

Don Imus back to beginning again. He just never learm.
Remember in April 2007 when he refer the predominantly black members of a university women’s basketball team as “nappy headed hos,” we all know that was a derogatory term for coarse, curly hair with slang for whore. Now he’s saying that Blacks should be outrage because cops arrested a black person for no reason.

A colleague of Imus commented on how many times Jones had been arrested
since he had been drafted by the Tennessee Titans in 2005, and Imus asked what
color he was. Told that Jones is black, Imus responded: “Well, there you go. Now
we know.”
But on Tuesday Imus said during his show: “Obviously I already knew
what color he was. The point was to make a sarcastic point.
“What people
should be outraged about is they arrest blacks for no reason,” he said. “There’s
no reason to arrest this kid six times, maybe he did something once, but I mean
everybody does something once.”

Civil rights campaigner Rev. Al Sharpton
said he found the inference in this week’s remark by Imus “disturbing.” He said
his National Action Network lobby group had been monitoring Imus’ show since he
returned to the airwaves in December.

Tap Water making a comeback?

So how much is a bottled water now a days? little over $1.00 are the cheapest one, They recommend 64 oz a day, you calculate that, that’s a lot of money hundreds to thousands of dollars a year depending on the brand, more and more people are figuring out that bottled water are getting too expensive and looking into water that comes straight from the sink is the best approach. call me old fashion but is it safe to drink tap water? yea if your body can filter all the junk that it contains.

They’re saying that the lousy economy may be accomplishing what environmentalists have been trying to do for years — wean people off the disposable plastic bottles of water that were sold as stylish, portable, healthier and safer than water from the tap.

What are the Health Risks of Tap Water?NRDC does caution, however, that “pregnant women, young children, the elderly, people with chronic illnesses and those with weakened immune systems can be especially vulnerable to the risks posed by contaminated water.” The group suggests that anyone who may be at risk obtain a copy of their city’s annual water quality report (they are mandated by law) and review it with their physician.

What are the Health Risks of BottleWater? As for bottled water, it is first important to know that 25 to 30 percent of it comes straight from municipal tap water systems, despite the pretty nature scenes on the bottles that imply otherwise. Some of that water goes through additional filtering, but some does not. NRDC has researched bottled water extensively and has found that it is “subject to less rigorous testing and purity standards than those which apply to city tap water.”

Bottled water is required to be tested less frequently than tap water for bacteria and chemical contaminants, and U.S. Food and Drug Administration bottled water rules allow for some contamination by E. coli or fecal coliform, contrary to EPA tap water rules that prohibit any such contamination.

Consumers should really look into getting a filtration system.

Many municipal water supplies cannot completely filter out all chemical contaminants. In fact, some chlorine taste and odor stays in after processing and ends up in the tap water you drink. water filtration virtually eliminates the chlorine taste and bad odors, greatly improving the quality and clarity of your tap water.
Water filters are relatively inexpensive and improve the overall taste of your tap water as well as the smell, and appearance. Many filters will also remove some harmful chemicals found in
your drinking water. here you can do a little test compare a glass of bottled water to a glass of tap water. Look at the color, clarity and then smell both of them. Chances are, your tap water
will be cloudy, and may smell of bleach just like pool water.

Very creative!

Hmm Seafood!

And we shall call this guy "In God we trust"

A Guy formelly known as Steve Kreuscher is no more.
Lake County judge granted permission to the Zion man Friday to officially change his name to “In God We Trust.” That’s “In God” as a first name and “We Trust” as a last name. hmm neat!

ZION, Ill. (AP) — A school bus driver and amateur artist from the Chicago
suburb of Zion has legally changed his name to “In God We Trust.”
A Lake
County circuit judge approved Steve Kreuscher’s name change petition on Friday.

The 57-year-old’s first name was changed to “In God,” while his last
name was changed to “We Trust.”

He says the new name symbolizes the help
God gave him during tough times and says he can’t wait to begin signing his
artwork with the new moniker.

More in this Guy

The process to change his name took roughly three months. Throughout the course We Trust said he was looking for a sign from God that would let him know it was a good idea. He got it one day while adding up the expenses for the name change, which came out to roughly $600.
“I didn’t want to use my own money because things are tight,” said the father of four. “Three weeks later, I got my (tax) rebate check for $600.”

Changing his name to something so out of the ordinary is bound to get mixed reactions from people, especially because of the religious overtones, he said.
“I’m not out to offend anybody. People can call me something different,” We Trust said.
We Trust must now go about changing his name on all legal documents. Early next week, he’ll visit the Social Security office in Waukegan and then the Secretary of State’s office and his bank.
He’s already begun signing his artwork with his new moniker, a move that may add value to his work.
“There are billions of artists out there. If you don’t do something to stand out in the crowd the world won’t recognize you,” We Trust said.

deericorn spotted

Well not unicorn, not a horse like creature, is a deericorn.

I wonder if Greg Gutfeld woul love this little creature.

By Marta Falconi Associated Press
ROME — A deer with a single horn in the
center of its head — much like the fabled, mythical unicorn — has been spotted
in a nature preserve in Italy, park officials said Wednesday.
“This is fantasy becoming reality,” Gilberto Tozzi, director of the Center of Natural
Sciences in Prato, told The Associated Press. “The unicorn has always been a
mythological animal.”
The 1-year-old roe deer — nicknamed “Unicorn” — was
born in captivity in the research center’s park in the Tuscan town of Prato,
near Florence, Tozzi said.
He is believed to have been born with a genetic
flaw; his twin has two horns.
Calling it the first time he has seen such a
case, Tozzi said such anomalies among deer may have inspired the myth of the
unicorn.
The unicorn, a horselike creature with magical healing powers, has
appeared in legends and stories throughout history, from ancient and medieval
texts to the adventures of Harry Potter. READ MORE

House Subcommittee Rejects Plan to Open U.S. Waters to More Oil Exploration

House Subcommittee Rejects Plan to Open U.S. Waters to More Oil Exploration

The way I see it: if we started to drill for oil on our own land, even if it takes 7 to 10 years to benefit from this drilling, wouldn’t the oil prices go down? Wouldn’t the people whom we get oil from now lower it’s prices to keep America as one of their customers?

WASHINGTON — A House subcommittee on Wednesday rejected a
Republican-led effort to open up more U.S. coastal waters to oil
exploration.
Rep. John Peterson, R-Pa., spearheaded the effort. His proposal
would open up U.S. waters between 50 and 200 miles off shore for drilling. The
first 50 miles off shore would be left alone.
But the plan failed Wednesday
on a 9-6, party-line vote in a House appropriations subcommittee, which was
considering the proposal as part of an Interior Department spending
package.

…According to Peterson’s office, the U.S. Minerals Management Service
estimates that 86 billion barrels of oil and 420 trillion cubic feet of natural
gas can be found along the U.S. outer continental shelf, the area affected by
the ban.
Peterson is not alone in his desire to open up the shelf. An effort
to unlock the resources has been underway in Congress in recent years, and
several interest groups are backing the effort, too.
“Tapping America’s huge
reserve of deep ocean energy helps us fight terrorism and increases our domestic
energy supply, which will help put downward pressure on gasoline prices,” Greg Schnacke, President of Americans
for American Energy, said in a news release, adding: “With Americans suffering
at the gas pump and with higher energy bills, it’s a no-brainer that the OCS
should be developed.”

The comments that McConnell referred to were given during an interview with CNBC. Discussing rising gasoline prices, Obama said: “I think that I would have preferred a gradual adjustment. The fact that this is such a shock to American pocketbooks is not a good thing.
Obama also said that “if we take some steps right now to help people make the adjustment, first of all by putting more money into their pockets, but also by encouraging the market to adapt to these new circumstances more quickly, particularly U.S. automakers, then I think ultimately, we can come out of this stronger and have a more efficient energy policy than we do right now.

I’m sorry…I must be mistaken…I thought the gasoline prices were gradually adjusting. A shock would be going from $1.79 per 9/10gal and the next day $4.05 per 9/10gal. May God Bless Barack Obama
