Mar. 24–SUFFOLK — They sold a cereal flake for $1,350, but Emily and Melissa
McIntire of Chesapeake have no plans to go into competition with Kellogg’s and
General Mills.
The sisters gained national attention with their offbeat eBay
auction last week, selling “The Great Illinois Corn Flake” (or, at least, a
coupon redeemable for it) after discovering a piece of Frosted Flakes cereal
shaped like the Midwestern state.
