In Evolutionary Theory: Male does not need nipples?

Along with your “Appendix“, Body hair, wisdom teeth and male nipples according to The science channel are all useless, well from the Evolutionist stand point.
Funny they all ruled this as an “Evolutionary evidence”. hmmm.
Even though countless scientist says that “appendix” is there for a reason.

Lets break it down shall we?

MSN’s Top 10 Useless Body Parts : By Science Channel

1. Male nipples:
Their reason : Because, why? ,
I’ll tell you why -Males have nipples because of the common embryological plan followed during early embryo development - because nipples are part of this design economy.

2. The appendix:
Their reason: Darwin claimed the appendix was useful for digestion during our early plant-eating years; it’s dwindled down to little since we started eating more digestible foods.

My answer:

The appendix is not generally credited with significant function; however,
current evidence tends to involve it in the immunologic mechanism:

Also:

The mucosa and submucosa of the appendix are dominated by lymphoid nodules,
and its primary function is as an organ of the lymphatic system

3. Wisdom Teeth:
Their reason: Back in the day, when we ate mammoth meat off the bone and didn’t floss afterward, our teeth tended to fall out. Therefore, when those reserve molars, aka “wisdom teeth,” came in, they were welcomed. Nowadays, fluoride and dental plans have made them just a huge pain.
funny I still have mine and I know lots of people still has it. anyway the right answer.
Experts says the reason this is happening is that children are maturing much faster today than in the past. This has made the space in the back of the jaws smaller and smaller for the eruption and proper positioning in the bite for third molars.
However this doesn’t mean everyone needs to get rid of their molars , or wisdom teeth.

and so on. go to MSN Encarta and read the whole thing abot 10 useless body parts.

Then go to answersingenesis.org for biblical point of view which I highly favor. You decide!

Boy Finds Shark Tooth in Michigan Waters

Boy Finds Shark Tooth in Michigan Waters

Yeah. That’s good that they watch Discovery Channel, but did they see the proof that said some sharks such as bullsharks do and can live in fresh water sometimes? LOL.

A 16-year-old Michigan boy found an ancient 3-inch shark tooth while
snorkeling in the St. Clair River, he told reporters.
David Wentz said he
took the mysterious petrified item to his father, who recognized it immediately
because he frequently watched the Discovery Channel, the Port Huron (Mich.)
Times Herald reported.

Greeks Light Flame for Beijing Olympics Amid Tensions Over Tibet

Greeks Light Flame for Beijing Olympics Amid Tensions Over Tibet
Wow! Taking it too far. Huh! Are they trying to hide something?

ANCIENT OLYMPIA, Greece - Three men from a free-press group ran onto the
field of the stadium in Ancient Olympia during Monday’s flame-lighting ceremony
for the Beijing Olympics, evading massive security aimed at preventing such
disruptions in the wake of China’s crackdown in Tibet.
…One protester held a black banner showing the Olympic rings as
handcuffs. The group said three members, including the group’s secretary general
Robert Menard, managed to get into the ceremony without being stopped.
…China state TV cut away from the protest and showed a prerecorded scene,
preventing Chinese viewers from seeing the incident. Chinese television
commentators did not mention the demonstration.

Corn Flake Sisters Cash in, Get Out of Cereal

Will this make you eat Frosted
Flakes or Cornflakes?

Mar. 24–SUFFOLK — They sold a cereal flake for $1,350, but Emily and Melissa
McIntire of Chesapeake have no plans to go into competition with Kellogg’s and
General Mills.
The sisters gained national attention with their offbeat eBay
auction last week, selling “The Great Illinois Corn Flake” (or, at least, a
coupon redeemable for it) after discovering a piece of Frosted Flakes cereal
shaped like the Midwestern state.

Fear not.. New Research: Pycnogenol® Improves Memory in Elderly.

GENEVA, Switzerland – New research accepted for publication in the Journal of Psychopharmacology, demonstrates Pycnogenol®, (pic-noj-en-all), an antioxidant plant extract from the bark of the French maritime pine tree, improves the memory of senior citizens. The study results revealed Pycnogenol® improved both numerical working memory as well as spatial working memory using a computerized testing system. The research was presented last week at the Oxygen Club of California 2008 World Congress on Oxidants and Antioxidants in Biology in Santa Barbara, CA.

“These results support research from a range of disciplines that suggest that antioxidants may have an effect in preserving or enhancing specific mental functions,” said Dr. Con Stough, lead researcher of the study. Cognitive research in this area specifically indicates that the putative benefits associated with antioxidant supplementation are associated with memory.”

The double-blind, placebo controlled, matched pairs study, which was held at the Centre for Neuropsychology at Swinburne University, Melbourne Australia, examined the effects of Pycnogenol® on a range of cognitive and biochemical measures in 101 senior individuals aged 60-85 years old. The study also examined the ‘oxidative stress’ hypothesis of ageing and neurological degeneration as it relates to normal changes in cognition in elderly individuals. Participant screening for the study included medical history and cognitive assessment. Participants consumed a daily dose of 150mg of Pycnogenol® for a three-month treatment period and were assessed at baseline then at one, two and three months of the treatment. The control and Pycnogenol® groups were matched by age, sex, BMI, micronutrient intake and intelligence. The cognitive tasks comprised measures of attention, working memory, episodic memory and psycho-motor performance. read more.

Easter Linkage

Happy Easter Everyone!! I thought I throw in couple of links
A Muslim baptized by Pope?

Vatican television zoomed in on Allam, who sat in the front row of the
basilica along with six other candidates for baptism. Allam later received his
first Communion.
An Egyptian-born, non-practicing Muslim who is married to a
Catholic, Allam often writes on Muslim and Arab affairs and has infuriated some
Muslims with his criticism of extremism and support for the Jewish state.

Suicide? ,, just asking.
Lets pray for a quite easter in Qatar.

But critics in this devoutly Muslim country call it a desecration, with a
militant website last week threatening retaliation against the congregation. One
former politician has called for a national referendum to decide its fate.

Freedom of Religion?

Are White People color blind?

[...]the scorching rhetoric that sometimes is delivered from the pulpit,
much of the acrimony might have been avoided if white tourists were just as
interested in praying alongside blacks as they were in listening to them
sing.

ahh I can see it now.

Exit Question
Why does the date of Easter vary by more than a month?

Because the ancient Egyptians and Hebrews used different calendars. [..]

Idiot ,, GOSH!!

Heartache: Iraq had unsettling Al-Qaida connections

Really? yes really.

What do we know about
collaboration?

We know that, despite continued insistence by some Czech officials, contrary
evidence pretty much cements that the Atta-Prague story – where the lead 9/11
hijacker supposedly met with Iraqi intelligence agents prior to the attacks – is
false. Iraq, we can positively claim, had nothing to do with the events of that
day. read more

Bottom line

The point is not that there was any provable impending doomsday on the horizon, or that the Iraqi Ba’athists and the al Qaeda chaps were fond of each other. They were not fond of each other, and were ideologically in disagreement, inasmuch as the Ba’athists in Damascus and their Hezbollah surrogates in Beirut, or the Shi’a mullahs in Tehran and their Sunni beneficiaries in Gaza, conjure up diametrical opposition.

The point is simply that those who discount any unsettling link – or worse, and even more irresponsible, discount the possibility that the two entities might curtail their pride, hold their noses, and collude against innocents – ought to be challenged. And they ought to be challenged by sources and references they themselves cite when they assert there was no reason ever to be concerned.

So, there we have it: requests for basing privileges and offers of asylum, each of which were turned down not due to hostility but due to the unfavorable logistics of the moment. One looks at Hussein’s history of offering safe haven to the world’s most wanted men (Abu Nidal, Abu Abbas, etc.), and Iraq’s preponderance to support Jihadist groups affiliated with al Qaeda as far away as Algeria (the GSPC) and the Philippines (the Abu Sayyaf Group), and it should be acknowledged that it was not entirely unreasonable for a statesman to look at Iraq and al Qaeda’s unclear relationship and say, “This is as far as it is ever going to get.”

Save the Whales: How Moko the Dolphin Came to the Rescue of a Mother and Her Calf

This just shows that animals can communicate with each other if it’s the Lord’s Will.

The two beached whales were in distress. Rescuers had tried without success
to push them back out to sea. It looked as if they would have to be put down.
Then Moko the bottlenose dolphin appeared. In an incident that amazed
conservationists, the dolphin - apparently responding to the whales’ distress
calls - led them to safety.
…”The whales made contact with the dolphin, and she basically escorted
them about 200 metres parallel with the beach, to the end of the sandbar. Then
she did a right-angle turn through quite a narrow channel and escorted them out
to sea.

If my family or I ever get lost at sea I hope God sends a bottle-nosed dolphin to protect us, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Anton van Helden, a mammals expert at New Zealand’s national museum, Te
Papa, said dolphins had “a great capacity for altruistic activities”. They
had
been known to protect people lost at sea, and were also very
playful.

Younger MILF ready for action

No not this ,the other MILF (Moro Islamic Liberation Front) a Muslim separatist rebel group in the Philippines. The group said a younger generation of “mujahideens” shall be seeing action this time instead of their veterans.

“For us mujahideens, we wanted to end this… I tell the government, if they
fail to give us freedom and justice according to Islam, if MILF permits me, I’m
prepared to die,” said Macapaar, who heads the 102nd Base Command of the MILF in
Lanao del Norte.
Macapaar was just nine years old when he became a Muslim
rebel in 1971. It was a time when the MILF was still part of the Moro National
Liberation Front (MNLF).
Nearly four decades later, several young mujahideens
have followed in his footsteps and are joining the meetings of the MILF Central
Committee.
The MILF said only those aged 18 and above are permitted to join
the battles. However, the group said younger rebels can undergo training.
All
of Macapaar’s 12 sons want to be just like their father. They too have undergone
military training.
“That’s what I want, for them to follow me as I offer
myself to Allah,” said Macapaar.
