Barack Obama calls Blazers No.1 pick and I say ho-hum..ZZZZZZZ….
Greg Oden took a two-minute telephone call from Sen. Barack Obama on Tuesday in
which the men discussed basketball, mohawk haircuts and Oden’s knee.
They
did not talk about Obama’s stance on education, civil rights or health care.
Instead, Oden said he studied the political candidate’s Web site to educate
himself on those matters, but after the telephone call, Portland’s No. 1 draft
pick announced in his Internet blog, “Senator Obama is getting my vote.”
Oden also wrote, “He is a very nice man.” And the Blazers’ center added, “He
is a real sports fan and he knew about the Blazers. (Obama) said that when I
come back Brandon (Roy), LaMarcus (Aldridge) and I will be a force next year.”
And Oden also wrote, “There are things he’s doing that I really support.

Is it safe to say that this is how Democrats handle their arguments? nah! An Isolated incident?

The cut-throat world of presidential politics usually doesn’t go this far
to get its point across.
But Jose Ortiz, 28 — a Hillary Clinton supporter —
is behind bars after stabbing his Barack Obama-supporting brother-in-law, Sean
Shurelds, following a political argument, according to KYW1060.com.
“One is a supporter of Barack Obama, the other is a supporter of Hillary Clinton, and an argument of words turned bloody when one brother-in-law tried to choke the other and the victim then responded with a knife and stabbed his brother-in-law in the stomach,” Montgomery County, Pa., District Attorney Risa Furman said, according to KYW.
This is why I distance my self from Democrats when I’m debating them. 
Walmart Health Clinics
Well what else is not available at Walmart? how about an in-store Health Clinic. yea
The world’s largest retailer said last week it will open The Clinic at Wal-Mart
as a joint venture with local hospital systems in Atlanta, Dallas and Little
Rock, Ark., starting in April.
Wal-Mart is among several supermarket and
drugstore chains that in the past couple of years have begun opening store-based
health clinics, which are staffed mostly by nurse practitioners or physician
assistants and offer quick service for routine conditions from colds and bladder
infections to sunburns.
About 7% of Americans have tried a clinic at least
once, according to an estimate by the Convenient Care Association, an industry
trade group formed in 2006.

12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz., and the boy followed at 12:23 a.m.,
weighing 6 lbs. “Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon,”

for Lopez, 38, and the fourth and fifth for Anthony, 39. The couple celebrated
the impending births with a baby shower in New York on Jan. 19. “They were just
beaming the entire time,” said one partygoer.

What changed in Cuba?
What’s new in the air in Cuba? Nothing yet of course, it was just last Tuesday when Fidel Castro annouced the He would be stepping down. To some it’s a bright future for Cubans and not-so-bright future to many.
Although no one can replace Castro not even his successor brother Raul Castro, the younger Castro, who was once a hard-line communist like Fidel, has shown signs in recent years of being a bit of a reformer.

I hate to admit, me too is somewhat suffering from a “Castro Shock”. I’m totally not alone on this.

“It’s hard to imagine what

G. Alexander Moore, an anthropologist and Latin American expert who teaches at
USC, wonders how much Cuba will really change in the months and years ahead.
“I don’t think that much,” Moore said.
“As long as Fidel is not in a
coma, he will be the final arbiter of what happens in Cuba, even if it means he
can communicate only by blinking his eyes,” Moore said.
Moore said Cuba
could become more like China, liberalizing its economy and allowing greater
entrepreneurship among its people, while maintaining a tight grip on political
power and who wields it.
China? hmm close enough.

U.S. should apologize for Saddam’s execution
So yea according to Iraqi Ba’th Party Leader Ghazwan Al-Kubeisi US should say sorry for executing Saddam Hussein and leave Iraq, and release all Iraqi prisoners. Hmm seems like he knows that either Hilary Clinton or Barack Obama will be the next US President don’t ya think?
Co’z I’m pretty sure that’s the agenda of them two, well not the apology part, I don’t think.
