Three Little Pigs Puppies , yikes!

So here is the headlines,

Church School Renames Three Little Pigs to Three Little Puppies to Avoid Offending Muslims.

My first re-action was ” oh for the love of petah!”

“The story of the Three Little Pigs’ battle with the Big Bad Wolf has delighted children since it was written more than 150 years ago.
But the tale highlighting the merits of hardwork and practicality has become the latest to fall victim to political correctness
. A junior school production of the children’s story has been renamed the Three Little Puppies for fear of offending Muslims.
Organisers of a children’s music festival have altered the popular characters and lyrics because of the multi-cultural nature of the youngsters involved and their parents in the audience.

Now here is the kicker and happy ending.

“Islamic leaders condemned the politically correct move as misguided and said decisions like this were turning Muslims into ‘misfits’ in society. “

And I said again, “oh! for the love of Peewee!”

But organisers of the Kirklees Primary Music Festival decided to change the script to be ’sensitive’ to Muslims at a recent committee meeting.
Committee member Gill Goodswen, head teacher of Stile Common Junior School, defending the move.
She said: “We have to be sensitive if we want to be multi-cultural. It was felt it would be more responsible not to use the three little pigs
.

She went on saying that “We feared that some Muslim children wouldn’t sing along to the words about pigs,’ she said.”

But Shaykh Ibrahim Mogra from the Muslim Council of Britain branded the move ‘bizarre’

Another San Francisco Values

Here we go again, I’m pretty sure, you’ll find some decent people in SF when it comes to moral values, the majority however has gotten to a point of “loconess” to my view. Here it is, one of the latest SF Values at is best. read on and talk among yourselves.

FrontPageMagazine.com March 16, 2007

Last year’s much-publicized decision by the San Francisco school board to eliminate the Junior Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program from the city’s high schools was not an isolated incident. Not only has Lowell, Massachusetts, also taken steps to abolish JROTC, but educators-turned-activists from the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) are waging a determined battle to keep the United States military out of schools.

While ostensibly designed to protect students from military recruiters (public enemy number one for the pacifist activists), the anti-JROTC campaign itself is what really harms young people by teaching them to view all U.S. military action as criminal and immoral. Such brainwashing was revealed in a recent Los Angeles Times exposé of Roosevelt High School in Boyle Heights, California (“Junior ROTC takes a hit in L.A.”), “where students and teachers have launched a crusade against military recruiting and JROTC.”

Until recently, service to one’s country was respected at Roosevelt. In The Times article, 11th grader Jesse Flores says that in the past cadets at the school were often stopped so that other students could admire the medals and ribbons on their uniforms. The school’s “Rough Rider Battalion” used to be one of JROTC’s best, regularly winning citywide competitions. The battalion’s girls’ drill team won the national championship in 1990, when there were 400 cadets in Roosevelt’s program.

This was all before 9/11 changed everything. For LAUSD’s radicals, the terrorist attack against America wasn’t seen as an opportunity to express gratitude to the U.S. military or rally even more support for JROTC. Instead, Arlene Inouye, a speech therapist who once worked at Roosevelt, founded The Coalition Against Militarism in Our Schools (CAMS). CAMS is part of the United Teachers of Los Angeles (UTLA) Human Rights Committee, which made headlines last year when it planned to discuss the launching of a boycott of Israel from union headquarters. CAMS is now active in 50 Los Angeles-area schools, providing teachers with anti-military films, books, pamphlets and speakers. Inouye envisioned “the neighborhood schools as centers of activism where the broader community could participate.” Her dream has become a reality, as the situation at Roosevelt makes clear, ……….READ ON let the brain washing begins!!!!!

Chiquita La Terrorista

Chiquita to pay $25 million for dealings with militants
The fine will settle a U.S. inquiry on whether the company knowingly paid Colombian groups deemed to be terrorist for protection.

Well then Miss Chiquita

Federal prosecutors said the company and several unnamed high-ranking corporate officers did business with the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia. The group is described in court documents as a violent right-wing organization that the U.S. has designated as a terrorist organization. The company also did business with the leftist Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, according to prosecutors.

Ole’ ! ..

Those groups and other paramilitary and rebel organizations have been fighting a brutal war over turf and political control, and have been accused of numerous human rights violations. The groups have also been engaged in terrorist attacks, drug trafficking and kidnappings of Americans and corporate officials, usually for lucrative ransoms.

So you fined them? I say lock ‘em up.

"In God We Trust", Missing.

I got an email about this missing in “In God we trust” from the George Washington coins from Tom and Kathy Wetland.

“Please pass this on. If you have been given one of these coins, look at it close.
> >Today I picked up at Bank of America several of the new $1.00 coins
>with the picture of George Washington on it. To my shock and dismay
>the words, “In God We Trust”, are not on this coin! A quick search
>of the other coin denominations in my collection confirmed that
>every one contained these faithful words. The new George Washington
>$1.00 coin is the first money ever issued by the USA in modern
>history without the words “In God We Trust”. By omitting these
>words, our politically correct, secularist leaders made a
>conscientious decision that either; 1) God does not exist, or 2)
>that God exists, but can no longer be trusted. I am personally
>offended and fed up with the denigration of God and Christianity in
>my country. I am certain George Washington would never have agreed
>to his picture on the coin if it any way diminished faith in God.
>What can we do to show our displeasure? First of all, let’s boycott
>the coin. Do not ask for it at banks. If it is given to you in
>change ask for dollar bills instead and tell the person why. Write
>your Senators stating your displeasure. Finally, if you agree, pass
>this e-mail on to others. Collectively, we must send a strong
>message to those secularists who are trying to remove God from
>our culture. If we do this, some 300 million $1.00 coins will back
>up and rot in the supply chain! To God be the glory! >

Well this is not the faceless dollar coin.
this is..

An unknown number of improperly struck new George Washington dollar coins without edge inscriptions, including “In God We Trust,” made it past inspectors and went into circulation Feb. 15. ,

–Well the coins are bringing about 50 U.S. dollars a piece online,, hmm say Ebay? maybe.

Minnesota Muslims

Well we all know about the flying Imams , now suing US airways
Also the Taxi Drivers refusal of picking up passengers who posseses alcohol or/and has a dog.

and now a Muslim cashier from Minneapolis Target refused to swipe groceries containing pork products .
Chris Serres, A Star Tribune staff writer wrote.

“How would you feel if a cashier made you swipe your own groceries because of his/her religious beliefs?
If you have an opinion on the matter, feel free to call me at (612) 673-4308.
I’m a reporter who covers Target for the Star Tribune and the other day, I got a call from someone who said that an employee at the Target store downtown refused to run his bacon through a scanning machine. He was mighty upset, arguing that the cashier had “no right to work as a cashier at Target” if she wasn’t prepared to swipe his groceries.
But he was a little vague on the details, so I decided to check it out myself. At the Target store on E. Lake Street, a cashier wearing a hijab looked uncomfortable when I showed up at the cash register with a frozen pepperoni pizza. She immediately called for help, and another employee rang up the pizza and placed it in the basket.
I asked her if it was because she was Muslim, and she nodded her head. “I can’t even touch it,” she said”
Apparently Bacon scares them, I mean Pork, I mean Pigs. and Dogs, and Alcohol.

Vonage VOip

VONAGE VOip

So you’ve heard about Vonage right? Unlimited calls for $24.95 a month. Sounds like a great deal, however they can’t deliver on what they promise. First of all, a telemarketer called me frm Cebu, Phililppines 1 to 2 months ago and I told her we’d consider switching to them if we could keep our same phone number. So she called me this past Saturday night and told me that yes we could keep our same phone number, there would be no cancellation fee as long as we cancelled within the 30 day trial period, and after that it would be $30. So I gave her our checking acct info after she waved the activation fee of $24.95. The recorder person said she would call me back in 3 min to confirm our phone number. About 1 to 1 1/2 hours later she called me back and transferred me to the automated operator to verify our phone number. When I entered in our phone number it said it couldn’t be found. So I called back the telemarketers phone number 1-866-243-4357 (for those that have caller id) to find out what’s going on. They informed me that our phone number cannot be tranferred over and I have to call my phone company Verizon to ask them to allow my number to be ported out and that I had already been billed the $15.78 s&h fee and there was nothing they could do about it. When I asked to talk to a supervisor it was like they didn’t hear me. The girl said, “A supervisor cannot tell you anything different than I am telling you now, You have to call your phone company and ask them to have your number ported out.” After about 10 times (literally) of asking to talk to a supervisor finally she got one. The supervisor said that if I want to cancel than I have to call back on Monday to cancel, but we have already been billed and the product has been shipped already, so they can’t do anything about the s&h fee. Then when I called back on Monday to cancel they said that once they receive the shipment back they will credit our checking account, but since we’re cancelling there is an automated fee that they cannot reverse until the device is received back of $39.99. I told what if I don’t have the money in my checking the telemarketer said there is no cancellation fee as long as I cancel within the first 30 days, well this is within the first 30 days, she said “It’s automated and there is nothing I can do about it.”
It’s too bad there are a lot of Telemarketers that’ll tell you what you want to hear and it’s not the truth. Beware of Vonage. By the way you still have to keep your local phone line, add vonage on and keep your DSL in order to use Vonage, so you’re not really saving money, atleast we wouldn’t be and it is not worth the stress. We closed our checking account and filled out an authorization revoked form with our bank because we do not trust Vonage. Jesus Christ says, “Bless and curse not those who persecute you and spitefully use you.” Therefore, May God bless those people who were dishonest with us, In Jesus Name we pray. Amen. Jesus is right blessing people that hurt us gives us a peace that comforts us through trials and tribulations and our hope is that those people will come to the saving grace through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
May God Bless all those who are reading this.

Classes have resumed for students at North Farmington High School in Farmington Hills this morning after students were evacuated because of a bomb called into school.
Farmington Public Schools spokeswoman Diane Bauman said classes resumed around 10:30 a.m., and that things were back to normal at the 1,400-student school. Bauman said students were taken to a nearby evacuation site.

here is another one.

Teen convicted of calling in a bomb threat learns his punishment

Sixteen-year-old Dakota Zimmerman is sentenced to two years supervised probation and parole. He called in the bomb threat to Benton High School. His probation terms are: to get a job and a G.E.D. or high school diploma, stay away from alcohol, and obey a curfew. Zimmerman pleaded guilty to the charge last December. He phoned in the phony threat last October. Police evacuated the school, but found nothing.

Question is how do you make your School safe, couple websites I reccomend, one of them would the NCPC , keep safe schools, and I’m pretty sure there’s plenty so there you have it.

Let’s go local: Lake Delton faces threat

By Kay James,Dells Events

The town of Delton faces threats from the city of Baraboo’s extraterritorial zoning and annexations by the village of Lake Delton, but it has opportunities in development of the Highway 12 corridor and possibly a sewer district in conjunction with the Ho Chunk Nation.
About 40 residents including members of the town board and the town’s comprehensive planning committee identified threats, opportunities, strengths and weaknesses of the township Tuesday night with help from the Sauk County Planning and Zoning and UW-Extension.
Dave Tremble of Sauk County Planning and Zoning introduced the agenda for the evening’s session that is part of developing a comprehensive plan for the township. The state approved the comprehensive planning process, called Smart Growth, in 1999, Tremble said. It requires every incorporated unit of government to have a plan by 2010 and that decisions made on zoning, boundaries, ordinances and other issues involving land use must be consistent with that plan.
The town, through a 14-member committee chaired by Town Chairman Marvin Giebel has been working on its plan for about a year. Tuesday’s session, Tremble said, was to give town residents an opportunity to express their concerns and “visions” for the township.
Tremble then divided the group into three smaller groups to identify the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats or SWOTS. Tremble, Brian Simmert, of Sauk County Planning and Zoning, and Jenny Erickson of Sauk County UW-Extension acted as facilitators for the groups.
After 45 minutes of discussion, the groups reassembled and presented lists of the SWOTS. The two most frequently identified threats were the city of Baraboo’s extraterritorial zoning and the village of Lake Delton’s annexations.
“The village has gobbled up a hell of a lot (of the township) for development,” Giebel said in a small group session.
“We share your frustrations” about annexations from Baraboo and West Baraboo,” said Carol Rockman, director of planning and development for the Ho-Chunk Nation. The Nation’s casino and hotel is in the township. ,,, read on this is meat.
