Police said
Meyers lived with his mother and had recently lost his job.
The death is
under investigation and will be reviewed by a Marion County

What is OpenID?
Well if you’re like me you’ll appreciate OpenID it eliminates the need for multiple usernames across different websites, it makes your online experience easy. don’t have to remember all them usernames and passwords.
There’s a lot of OpenID Providers out there, you get to pick which is best meets your needs and you trust. Your OpenID will be with you always. This is free by the way.
OpenID is everywhere . You might already have one because many services like AIM and LiveJournal include an OpenID for members. You can check here. If you don’t already own one then just create one from any of the official OpenID providers on that page. Popular providers include ClaimID, myOpenID, myVidoop, myID.net and VeriSign’s Personal Identity Provider.
OpenID takes advantage of already existing internet technology(URI, HTTP, SSL, Diffie-Hellman) and realizes that people are already creating identities for themselves whether it be at their blog, photostream, profile page, etc. With OpenID you can easily transform one of these existing URIs into an account which can be used at sites which support OpenID logins.
OpenID is still in the adoption phase and is becoming more and more popular, as large organizations like AOL, Microsoft, Sun, Novell, etc. begin to accept and provide OpenIDs.
Today it is estimated that there are over 160-million OpenID enabled URIs with nearly ten-thousand sites supporting OpenID logins.
Now get a load of EMAILTOID
What’s this? Email to ID is based on the EAUT (Email Address to URL Translation) protocol that allows standard email addresses to be transformed into URLs for services like OpenID.
As far as concerns regarding security and who controls everything, EAUT was designed to work in a distributed fashion, so that there isn’t a single authority in charge of everything.
Each email service controls how email addresses at their domain are resolved into URLs.
Even though EAUT is designed to be decentralized, it will take time for email providers to add support. In these cases, a fallback service can be used, which can translate ANY email address to a URL. Relying parties can use any fallback service they wish, but Email to ID is recommended. The need for a fallback service will decrease as more email providers support EAUT natively.
Enter your email that you want to use then its pretty self explanatory. so why use EMAILTOID instead?
Emailtoid was designed as a technology prototype to act as a temporary solution to a usability problem in OpenID. Email to ID always defers to the email providers first and only falls back to the local resolution service if the email provider does not support email-to-OpenID resolution
. there you have it my web 2.0 peeps.
Obama rejects McCain call to delay debate
It sounds like John McCain is not only talking the talk, but walking the walk of what a President should be doing. By the way, are John McCain and Sen. Barack Obama still getting paid for their job? If they are, then who is pulling the cover over whose eyes (John McCain is working for his money).
Democratic Sen. Barack Obama rejected Republican Sen. John McCain’s dramatic
call Wednesday to delay Friday’s presidential debate because of the economic
crisis. The McCain campaign said McCain would not show up for the debate unless
a deal to address the crisis was reached.
The Commission on Presidential
Debates and the University of Mississippi, the scheduled host of Friday night’s
first debate, said the debate would go forward. They did not say what they would
do if McCain failed to show up in Oxford, Miss.
Speaking to reporters
in Clearwater, Fla., Obama said he and McCain agreed on the need to issue a
joint statement of support for legislation to rescue the banking industry. But
he declined McCain’s call to postpone the debate.
“This is exactly the time
when the American people need to hear from the person who in approximately 40
days will be responsible for dealing with this mess,” Obama told reporters in
Clearwater, Fla.
“In my mind, it’s more important than ever that we present
ourselves to the American people and describe where we want to take the country
and where we want to take the economy,” he said.
It sounds like John McCain is trying to SHOW us where he wants to take our country economically, not just debate about it.Late Wednesday, the candidates issued a joint statement.
…”This is a time to rise above politics for the good of the country,” their
statement says. “We cannot risk an economic catastrophe. Now is our chance to
come together to prove that Washington is once again capable of leading this
country.”
Who’s in Washington rising above politics? John McCain. Who’s in Washington, doing THEIR JOB? John McCain.

McCain adviser Nancy Pfotenhauer said McCain is just following his belief in putting the country first. She noted that he suspended the Republican National Convention when Hurricane Gustav hit the Gulf Coast and supported the unpopular troop surge in Iraq by saying he would rather win a war than win an election.
“We all watched the [Senate] hearings yesterday. … The bottom line is he did not think we would reach a conclusion and it’s absolutely imperative that we do so. This is vintage John McCain. He is going to put the country first and suspend the campaign,” Pfotenhauer told FOX News.

What causes ear wax? So what is ear candling and when is it necessary?
I was just cleaning my ears and I thought? Why does sometimes when I’m on certain phones my ear feels like it’s leaking something afterward? It’s probably the heat created by cell phones and cordless phones that I used to use. Now I have a corded phone and don’t have any problem with it. But we’re going to be getting a Stealth Radar Shield soon so when we get a new cordless phone I will know that the radiation will be 98% taken care of (which is better than 0% taken care of).
What causes ear wax?
The skin cells lining our outer ear canals include tiny glands, similar to sweat
glands, which produce wax. The point seems to be that this acts as a protective
layer, which traps dust and other particles which get into the ear. The wax
slowly works its way to the outside, taking the trapped dirt and dust with
it.
What do people need to do to clear it?
Most people’s ears clear the wax, which probably comes off on our pillows and
towels etc., at a rate which means that it does not build up. Some people may,
at some stages in their lives produce wax at a faster rate. Other people have
either one or both ear canals that is narrow, or that is at an angle which slows
the natural passage of the wax. In these people the wax builds up.
What should people not do to clear ear wax?
Do not try to clean out your ears by using a cotton bud. (Ear Nose and Throat
specialists sometimes say “You shouldn’t stick anything in your ear that’s any
smaller than your elbow!”) This may merely act like a ram rod, and could damage
the ear drum. It may help to wear ear plugs if you work in a particularly dusty
environment. If you keep getting ears blocked with wax, it may be worth using a
couple of drops of olive oil into each ear once or twice a week.

But what about ear wax candling…?
Ear candling is not recommended. It is a hollow cone made of paraffin and
beeswax with cloth on the tapered end. The tapered end is placed inside the ear,
and an assistant lights the other end, while making sure your hair does not
catch on fire. In theory, as the flame burns, a vacuum is created, which draws
the wax out of the ear. Limited clinical trials, however, showed that no vacuum
was created, and no wax was removed. Furthermore, this practice may result in
serious injury.

So with ear candling they actually light a flame by your hair? That sounds dangerous. Wow!
Josh Howard just can’t get enough of it , you know, controversy .
